Hawk Sauce

Hawk Sauce, created by SEMO entrepreneurship students as part of a hands-on project, involved collaboration with local producers and provided experience in product development, branding, and marketing. Dr. Quantella Noto says, “The students’ hot sauce business is a great example of how students can turn their ideas into a business that benefits all stakeholders involved.”

SEMO Scents

Students in the Principles of Entrepreneurship course dive into real-world experience by starting and managing their own business for a semester. Steven Stovall’s class launched SEMO Scents, a sustainable candle and wax melt business. The challenge? With a $200 startup investment from Management Department Chair Kevin Dickson, the team had to double it to $400.
